Fabric Care

Fabric Care – 100% Mulberry Silk

Crafted from pure mulberry silk, each garment in our collection is designed to offer a refined balance of elegance, comfort, and natural luxury. To maintain the integrity and beauty of this delicate fabric, we recommend the following care practices:

Washing

We suggest gentle hand washing in cold water using a mild, pH-neutral detergent specifically formulated for silk. Avoid soaking the garment for extended periods. Do not wring or twist; instead, press gently to release excess water.

Drying

After washing, lay the garment flat on a clean, absorbent towel. Roll lightly to remove water, then reshape and air dry away from direct sunlight. Avoid tumble drying, as heat can compromise silk’s natural luster and structure.

Ironing

If needed, iron on the reverse side using the lowest temperature setting or a dedicated silk mode. A pressing cloth is recommended to protect the fabric from direct contact with the iron. Alternatively, a steamer may be used at a safe distance.

Restoring Softness

To preserve silk’s smooth texture, consider adding a few drops of white vinegar to the final rinse. A silk-specific conditioner may also be used to restore suppleness and sheen.

Please note: improper care—such as washing with regular detergents, using hot water, or machine drying—can cause silk fibers to stiffen, resulting in a loss of softness, drape, and natural brilliance. Treat your silk with care to ensure its elegance endures.
